We have been very encouraged by the level of business and investor activity during the past month.  Investor confidence is returning and we have seen a rise the number of pre-IPO companies wanting to list on the ASX (as an example). Border restrictions are being eased (eg. http://statements.qld.gov.au/Statement/2020/6/30/restrictions-eased-border-plan-in-place) and Governments have been rolling out grant programs (see below) to support small and medium businesses.  We have seen an increase in companies looking to boost cash flow or improve working capital by accessing invoice, trade or debt financing to support their business.

Small Business COVID-19 

Adaption Grant Program - Round 2

"The Queensland Government has extended the Small Business COVID-19 Adaption Grant Program. As part of Stage 2 of Queensland's Economic Recovery Strategy – Unite and Recover for Queensland Jobs, up to $100 million is being made available to deliver a second round of grants, with half of this funding specifically earmarked for regional small businesses located outside of South East Queensland.


Round 2 opened at 9am on 1 July 2020."

 Introducing Project Portus


Project Portus is a new Power and Energy company developing a new LNG-To-Power project in Australia. 


The project will be developed in two stages with stage 1 Gas and stage 2 Power. The Board and management of the Company have extensive experience in developing these types of projects previously for reputable companies.

Project Portus’ business and commercial model is simple, scalable and de-risked via a tolling arrangement, where the Company does not take risk in supply of gas or price of gas, but a fixed toll charge is processed through the facility. The project and facility are the first-of-its-kind in the intended State and potentially a pioneering and first mover in Australia. The strategy is to grow Project Portus into a significant project developer and energy operator that aligns with both Federal and State energy policies, as well as creating a sustainable, low cost supply of gas to underpin and compliment the renewable sector for many years to come. The Convertible Note will provide the funding source, coupled with the IPO, to execute approvals and other workstreams as stated below for stage 1 Gas and beyond.
